Re-defining Yourself After Your Career.: Who am I?

Redefining Yourself

Retiring can be a daunting prospect, but also a great opportunity to redefine yourself and your goals.

Re-defining yourself can be a chance to start fresh and create a new identity.  An opportunity to explore new interests, develop new skills, and re-create a path that will bring fulfillment and success.

There is a tendency to define ourselves only by our career.  As part of retirement, it is essential to "re-define" - ask the following questions:

1. What do I want to become?

2. What experiences, talents, and skills can I continue to use, but perhaps in a different, more meaningful way?

3. What new goals, that bring fulfillment, will I set?

4. Are there any areas of your life you want to focus more on or change?

Answering these questions can help you create a plan for your retirement, so you can make the most out of this new chapter in your life.

Embrace Your Future

With each "sunset", there is a new "sunrise".  "When one chapter closes", "another chapter opens".  Embrace your future.
